Charlie Daniels is officially a Golden Gopher.

"Charlie Daniels is a tough, hard-nosed competitor that we're excited to have in the gym," head coach Ben Johnson said. "He's a proven veteran that contributed quality minutes with Stephen F. Austin and we're looking forward to working with him this year."
Daniels, a 6-9 forward/center, played in 21 games during the 2020-21 season where he averaged 14.4 minutes played, 4.6 points per game and 3.5 rebounds per game. He also led the Jacks with 19 blocks shots that season.
