Talented communication professionals join Minnesota staff
Trenten Gauthier and E.J. Stevens have joined the Minnesota Athletic Communications office as Assistant Directors of Athletic Communications.
Gauthier will work with Minnesota's softball and soccer programs and rejoins the Maroon and Gold after a three-year stint at South Carolina. Gauthier previously served as a Communications Assistant with the Gophers from 2017-2018 and worked with wrestling, soccer and women's tennis during that time. At South Carolina, he served as the primary media contact for women's soccer and track and field programs and assisted as the secondary contact for women's basketball.
Stevens returns to his alma mater after previous stops at Marquette and Nebraska and will work with Minnesota's volleyball and baseball programs. While at Marquette, he was the primary media relations contact for women's basketball, women's lacrosse and men's soccer. Stevens earned his master's degree at Nebraska and was the primary media contact for Husker wrestling, men's golf and women's tennis.
It was also announced that recent Minnesota graduates and former student workers Dan Galarneau and Logan Sass have joined the office as well. Galarneau will work with the women's hockey program, while Sass will serve as the media contact for the wrestling program.
