Stoudermire becomes the Big Ten’s all-time leader in kickoff return yards.
With 65 yards on three returns against New Mexico State, kick returner Troy Stoudermire surpassed the 3,025-yard mark owned by Wisconsin's David Gilreath to set a new career Big Ten record on September 10, 2011.
Stoudermire set the NCAA FBS record for career kickoff return yards (3,615), averaging 25.1 on 144 returns during his career at Minnesota (2008-12). He also set school single-season records for kickoff returns (43 in 2009) and yards (1,083 in 2008).
