Regionally, the women retained their first place ranking amongst the Midwest Region, with Oklahoma State, Iowa State, Illinois and Northwestern filling in the remaining top-five spots. The men dropped in this week's regional rankings to sixth.

The Gophers saw action this past weekend at the St. Olaf Invitational, where freshman Emmet Anderson (UA) and sophomore Ava Hill led the Gophers with third and eighth place finishes, respectively. They will continue their 2021-22 season this Friday, Sept. 24 at the 35th Annual Roy Griak Invitational, hosted by Minnesota at Les Bolstad Golf Course.
