Gophers Honor "Black Legacy" During Black History Month

The University of Minnesota women's basketball team celebrated Black History Month during its game against Rutgers on Feb. 17, donning names of past black Gopher greats in the program over the years. Leading up to the game, the University of Minnesota sat down with members of the team to talk about why Black History Month is not about just one month, but celebrating an entire culture each and every day along with celebrating all student-athletes, regardless of race or gender.
