Big Ten Unveils Softball Television Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS - The Big Ten Conference unveiled its television schedule with start times and channel designations for the 2022 softball season and the University of Minnesota will make 10 appearances on the national stage.
The Gophers will play twice on ESPN2 during the season coming in the first and last B1G series. The first appearance is set for April 3 at 11 a.m. at home against Illinois, while the second is game one of the final regular season series May 6 when Minnesota hosts Northwestern at 4 p.m.
The first of eight games live on BTN is set for April 15 as the Gophers are in Lincoln, Neb., to face the Huskers at 5 p.m.
Both ends of the 2022 Border Battle doubleheader against Wisconsin April 20 are slated to air on BTN from Jane Sage Cowles Stadium starting at 4 p.m. All three games of the weekend series between the Gophers and defending B1G champion Wolverines April 30-May 1 also can be caught on BTN from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
The last two outings of the season will be available on BTN when Minnesota and Northwestern clash May 7 and 8.
