Minnesota Headed to Norman, Okla., Regional

No. 8 Gophers will compete on March 31 against Boise State, California and Utah State
The No. 8 University of Minnesota gymnastics team has been selected to compete at the Norman Regional on March 30 – April 2, the NCAA announced Tuesday.Â
The Norman Regional will be hosted by the University of Oklahoma and is one of four regional meets held nationally. Competition will take place at the Lloyd Noble Center and in addition to Minnesota, the regional will feature No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 9 California, No. 16 Arizona State, Boise State, Utah State, Arkansas, West Virginia and Arizona.Â
Minnesota will compete in session one of the second round on March 31 against California, Boise State and Utah State. Session two features Oklahoma, Arizona State, Arkansas and the winner of West Virginia and Arizona.Â
The top two teams from each second round session will advance to the Regional Final on April 2. The top two teams will advance to NCAA Championships April 14-16 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.Â
