Vetter Named to HCA Goaltender of the Year Watch List

The sophomore was named HCA National Goaltender of the Month in December.
MINNEAPOLIS – Sophomore goaltender Skylar Vetter has been named to the HCA National Goaltender of the Year Watch List. Vetter was recently named HCA National Goaltender of the Month for her dominant month of December.
Through 18 starts this season, Vetter has posted a 13-3-2 record with a 1.91 GAA and a .921 Sv%. Her career-high four shutouts have earned her two WHCA Goaltender of the Month honors and five WCHA Goaltender of the Week honors. Earlier this season, Vetter posted a shutout streak of 261:30 – the third-longest in school history.
The Lakeville, Minn., native is one of four WCHA netminders to be named to this year's list. Minnesota alumna Lauren Bench was a feature on the watch list the past two seasons.
