Quotable
"What a great way to start the season. The energy was fantastic," head coach Jenny Hansen said. "Having all of the teams from Minnesota here tonight, I think really brought plenty of fans and lots of energy for our team. I'm just really proud of the start that we have. We had a lot of new faces, our freshmen were in all the lineups and they got experienced here tonight."

Junior Mya Hooten opened her 2023 campaign by scoring a 9.925 on vault, the highest score of the six Gophers. Seniors Maddie Quarles and Halle Remlinger both finished with a 9.850 in the event.
