Pease Named Women’s Professional Fastpitch Pitcher of the Year

The 2023 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year, NFCA Second Team All-American and former Golden Gopher, Autumn Pease, has been named the WPF Pitcher of the Year
MINNEAPOLIS - The 2023 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year, NFCA Second Team All-American and former Golden Gopher, Autumn Pease, has been named the Women's Professional Fastpitch (WPF) Pitcher of the Year, announced Tuesday evening.
Through 90.2 innings of work with the Texas Smoke, Pease tossed 56 strikeouts with a 3.09 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
In the second draft in the history of the WPF, Pease was the No. 10 pick in the third round by the Texas Smoke. This season marked The Smoke's and Pease's debut season in the league.
