USA Hockey/TheRinkLive Preseason Poll Ranks Minnesota Third

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota women's hockey team enters the 2023-24 season ranked third in the USA Hockey/TheRinkLive Preseason Poll, it was announced Tuesday.
The 25th annual USA Hockey/TheRinkLive Women's College Hockey Poll -- formerly named USA Hockey Magazine/USA Today Poll -- is conducted each week in conjunction with the American Hockey Coaches Association. The poll includes input from coaches and journalists representing each of the five NCAA women's hockey conferences who are eligible for the NCAA Women's National Collegiate Ice Hockey Championships, as well as composite votes from officers of the AHCA and USA Hockey.
The WCHA has five teams ranked in the top 15, starting with Wisconsin claiming the top spot and Ohio State at No. 2. After the No. 3 Gophers, Minnesota Duluth sits at No. 7 and St. Cloud State ranks No. 13.
