Kocevar Advances in ITF W15 Qualifying with Straight-Sets Victory

Lincoln, Neb. — Junior Anali Kocevar claimed victory in her opening match of the 2024 ITF W15 tournament, advancing past the first round of the qualifying draw.
Representing Slovenia, Kocevar defeated Germany's Denise Torrealba of Austin Peay State University 6-0, 7-5.
Kocevar will compete in round two of the qualifying draw on Tuesday, with match time yet to be announced. She is set to face Iulia Bucea, who is representing Canada.
A win would secure Kocevar's spot in the tournament's main draw.
