Kocevar Concludes Play at the ITF W15 Tournament

Lincoln, Neb. — University of Minnesota junior Anali Kocevar was defeated in the first round of the main draw at the 2024 ITF W15 tournament. She had previously secured her spot in the main draw by earning two victories in the qualifying draw.
Kocevar, representing her native Slovenia, was defeated by Ohio State alumna Kolie Allen, representing the United States, 4-6, 5-7 on Wednesday.
Kocevar had previously earned her spot in the main draw with a hard-fought win over Canada's Iulia Bucea on Tuesday, 4-6, 6-3, 12-10. She also secured a victory in the first round of the qualifying draw on Monday, defeating Germany's Denise Torrealba 6-0, 7-5.
