Goaltender Olivia King Returns to Gopher Roster

MINNEAPOLIS - Sixth-year goaltender Olivia King will make her return to the University of Minnesota women's hockey roster, head coach Brad Frost announced on Thursday. King has re-signed with the program for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

The Garrison, Minn. native spent the first four years of her collegiate career with the Maroon & Gold before transferring to St. Thomas for the 2023-24 season. 

In her lone season between the pipes for the Tommies, King went 5-12-1 with a .873 save percentage. She made a career-high 51 saves on Mar. 2, 2024 against Wisconsin.

King is a four-time WCHA All-Academic Team selection, a three-time WCHA Scholar Athlete, and two-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.
