Five Gophers to Play in 2024 Collegiate & U18 Series

MINNEAPOLIS - Five Gopher student athletes are set to represent their home countries in the 2024 Collegiate and Under-18 series between the United States and Canada. The series will see the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select and U18 Select Teams matching up against Canada's National Women's Development and U18 Teams, respectively.
Among the 23 student-athletes suiting up for the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team will be Maroon and Gold captains Peyton Hemp and Ella Huber, as well as newcomer Sydney Morrow. Incoming Gopher freshmen Gracie Graham and Chloe Primerano will both be skating for Team Canada, as Graham was named to the National Women's Development roster and Primerano to the National Women's U18 Team.
The three-game series will run from Aug. 14-17 at Canada Games Park in Thorold, Ontario. Each day will begin with a U18 matchup at 12:00 p.m. CT, followed by a collegiate game at 6:30 p.m. CT.
