Minnesota also added Prairie View A&M to the 2024-25 Schedule
MINNEAPOLIS – Single-game tickets for the Minnesota women's basketball 2024-25 season are now on sale. Single-game tickets can be purchased here while season tickets can be bought here.
The highly anticipated 2024-25 slate features 17 home games at Williams Arena, which includes key matchups against Penn State (Dec. 28), Michigan (Jan. 22), Iowa (Feb. 6), Indiana (Feb. 9), Oregon (Feb. 16) and Washington (Feb. 26). A full promotions schedule for Golden Gopher women's basketball will be unveiled later in October.
Additionally, the Golden Gophers have added Prairie View A&M to the 2024-25 schedule, the program announced on Thursday. The matchup with the Panthers will take place on Dec. 20, at Williams Arena and is the first game between the two programs.
The second season of the Dawn Plitzuweit era will begin against Central Connecticut State on Monday, Nov. 4. The 'U' returns nine from last year's roster, highlighted by the entire primary starting lineup from the 2023-24 season. The 2024-25 freshman class includes Tori McKinney (Minnetonka, Minn.) and McKenna Johnson (Wilmot, Wis.). Plitzuweit also added four transfers during the offseason in Alexsia Rose (Bloomfield, Conn.), Taylor Woodson (Minnetonka, Minn.), Annika Stewart (Plymouth, Minn.) and Jordan Brooks (Apple Valley, Calif.).
