Minnesota would keep the pressure on, getting a kill from Myers and two from Kinney to go up 22-18, causing UO's final timeout of the frame. After going up 23-18 on an error, Minnesota had to call its final timeout at 23-21 following three more UO points. UO cut it to as few as one at 24-23 before Taylor closed it out with a kill on the gap, 25-23.
