Minnesota Welcomes Three to 2026 Roster

Joining Minnesota’s squad are Bella Naples (Chanhassen, Minn.), Ellen Neuharth (Savage, Minn.) and Savannah Enriquez (San Marcos, Calif.).
MINNEAPOLIS - University of Minnesota soccer head coach Erin Chastain announced the addition of three new Golden Gophers for the 2026 season.
Joining Minnesota's squad are Bella Naples (Chanhassen, Minn.), Ellen Neuharth (Savage, Minn.) and Savannah Enriquez (San Marcos, Calif.).
Bella Naples | Chanhassen, Minn. | Chanhassen HS | Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL
Naples joins the Gophers after a successful prep career at Chanhassen High School. The Minnesota native was recognized as the 2025 Star Tribune Varsity All-Minnesota Girls Soccer Player of the Year.
She led Chanhassen to 13 wins this past season, tying the program record. The 2025 West Metro Conference Player of the Year and Class AAA Ms. Soccer finalist finished her career with 80 goals for the Storm. Naples was a 2024 and 2025 All-State selection and a four-time all-conference honoree, helping Chanhassen win the West Metro Conference in 2022 and 2025.
She also earned varsity letters in basketball (two), track and field (three), Key Club (four), and academics (four) as a member of the National Honor Society. She competes with MTA ECNL and played high school soccer with current Gopher Grace Fogarty.
The daughter of Tammy and J.T. Naples, she has three siblings: Leah, Claire and Liv. Naples is the third person in her family to play college soccer, following in the footsteps of her father, who played at Marquette, and her uncle, who played at Vanderbilt.
Ellen Neuharth | Savage, Minn. | Academy of Holy Angels | Minnesota Thunder Academy ECNL
Neuharth joins Minnesota after being named the MSHSL Class AA Ms. Soccer following an impressive career at the Academy of Holy Angels. The two-time all-state, all-section and all-conference honoree, as well as the Tri-Metro Player of the Year, led the Stars to four consecutive MSHSL state tournaments.
This past season, Neuharth scored 25 goals and recorded three assists, including four goals against Hastings to send the Stars to the state tournament. She helped lead the Stars to the 2022 MSHSL Class AA state championship and runner-up finishes in 2023 and 2024, while reaching the semifinal round this past season.
Academically, Neuharth earned high honors all four years of high school. She also competes with MTA ECNL.
The daughter of Michelle and Timothy Neuharth, she has four siblings: Owen, Gillian and Corinne. Neuharth intends to major in business.
Savannah Enriquez | San Marcos, Calif. | Mission Hills High School | City SC San Diego GA
Enriquez comes to Dinkytown after playing competitively with City SC San Diego GA for 11 seasons. She has earned four varsity letters at Mission Hills High School, where she helped the team win the Palomar League in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
A two-time all-conference selection, Enriquez has also found success with her club team, winning the Girls Academy Southwest Conference title in 2022, finishing as a Surf College Cup Best of the Best finalist in 2023, and placing among the top three teams nationally at the Girls Academy League Champions Cup in 2024.
Notably, Enriquez was a sponsored participant for Soccer.com's Club Partner XI Team, where she represented the United States against international teams in the United Kingdom. She has earned Cardinal Scholar Honors Distinction for maintaining a 4.0-plus GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation.
The daughter of Annie and Jeroen Enriquez, she has two siblings: Sienna and Sahara. Savannah enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, baking, and spending time with friends and family. She plans to major in biomedical engineering.
