At the time of her signing, Crosson's team still has to play in the section and state tournaments, so her statistics for this season are not yet complete.

Ranked as the No. 35 player in the nation for the 2026 class by PrepDig.com, Crosson comes in as the No. 11 player in California and the No. 5 outside hitter. PrepVolleyball.com has Crossen listed as the No. 25 player in America.

"Makenna's length, skill and competitive composure will immediately catch your attention," said Cook. "A true receiving outside hitter, Makenna has developed into one of the top all around outside hitters in California. Her volleyball knowledge and her passion to learn are two of her greatest intangible strengths."

On the AAU circuit, Crosson competed for Visionary Volleyball Club, where she helped the team to a 2022 Silver Medalist finish in the USVA GJNC 14 USA division.
