Football Places 13 in NFF Hampshire Honor Society

Minnesota one of 23 colleges and universities with at least one player recognized in all 19 years of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society
Thirteen members of the Gopher football team have been announced as members of the National Football Foundation's (NFF) 2025 Hampshire Honor Society.Â
Max Brosmer, Tyler Cooper, Mark Crawford, Lucas Finnessy, Jack Henderson, Daniel Jackson, Nick Kallerup, Derik LeCaptain, Cody Lindenberg, Jalen Logan-Redding, Logan Richter, Ethan Robinson and Danny Striggow all received the recognition.
To qualify for the Hampshire Honor Society, a student-athlete must be a senior who will graduate this spring/summer, and just completed his final year of playing eligibility in 2024, or be a graduated player or grad transfer who has already earned a bachelor's degree and competed in the 2024 season (even if the player has remaining eligibility and may return to play next season). In addition, they must have attained a minimum undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.2 and have been a starter or significant contributor throughout the 2024 season.
The Gophers were one of 22 FBS programs this year to have at least 10 honorees, joining Colorado State, Duke, Eastern Michigan, Indiana, Iowa State, James Madison, Kansas, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, Northwestern, Ohio, Oklahoma State, San Diego State, Southern California, Texas Tech, UNLV, Utah State, Virginia, West Virginia and Western Michigan.
Minnesota is also just one of 23 colleges and universities that have had at least one player in all 19 years of the NFF Hampshire Honor Society (2007-25). The other schools are BYU, Brown, Bucknell, Columbia, Dartmouth, Dayton, Iowa, Johns Hopkins (Md.), Kentucky, Lafayette, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Penn State, Redlands (Calif.), Saint John's (Minn.), SMU, South Dakota State, Wayne State (Mich.), West Virginia, Wingate (N.C.), Yale and Youngstown State.
