The Golden Gopher Fund will hold its annual Member Appreciation Day on Sept. 27 when Minnesota hosts Rutgers in football. Throughout the game, Gopher Athletics will proudly recognize its more than 9,300 Golden Gopher Fund members for their generosity and support of Gopher student-athletes. Golden Gopher Fund donors have collectively given more than $146.4 million during the past four years, which directly impacts Minnesota student-athletes.
"Every contribution to the Golden Gopher Fund directly transforms lives and empowers student-athletes through scholarships that fuel their academic and athletic success," said Director of Athletics Mark Coyle. "As the overall cost of providing a world-class student-athlete experience continues to rise, Gopher Athletics remains a leader in college athletics because of the support from more than 9,300 Golden Gopher Fund members."
