2018 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in all 13 games on special teams • made one tackle against Fresno State.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mounds View High School in Arden Hills, Minn. • wore No. 9 for the Mustangs • as a senior, made 19 catches for 312 yards and three touchdowns on offense and totaled 60 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, five sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two interceptions on defense • as a junior, hauled in 24 catches for 581 yards and seven scores • coached by Jim Galvin • also lettered in track and field.

PERSONAL: Son of Tim and Anji Janes • has two brothers (Jackson and Roman) and one sister (Marion) • uncle, Dan Nystrom, played football at Minnesota from 1999-2002 (school’s all-time leading scorer with 367 points) and then kicked for the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL.
