Entry Fee

D1 College: $600.00; DII/III: $400.00 (per gender). NO REFUNDS!! ALL PAYMENTS NEED TO BE MADE ON-LINE when entering your athletes in the meet. If you cannot pay with a credit card, please reach out to Sarah Hopkins (hess0125@umn.edu) for other instructions. Mandatory: Unattached runners will compete in the D2/D3 face and will pay the $30.00 fee on-line when registering. Any club team that runs 5 or more must pay the team rate.

Chip Timing

NEW THIS YEAR: THE TIMING CHIP WILL NOW BE ON THE RACE NUMBER AND THUS THERE WILL BE NO CHIPS TO COLLECT. NUMBERS ARE TO BE WORN ON THE FRONT.


Scoring

Women's & Men's Competition Unlimited Entries - Seven (7) will be scored. NCAA rules will apply. Unattached runners will run in the Division II Maroon Races for both the women and men. All club teams must run in the DII Race. Teams may run up a Division. If your school gives any Athletic Aid, you must run in the Division I or II races.


Meet Results Unofficial results will be posted on the Awards Stand board, available as soon as they are tallied and recorded. Official results will be produced and available in Driving Range Building. You will also be able to obtain official results at www.gophersports.com or via PTtiming

Awards Top 7 of winning team in each Division
Top 3 teams in each Division - Must be Collegiate
Top 20 individuals in each Division
Top Individual in each Division - Special Trophy

Award Presentation

Award ceremony for the Maroon and Gold competitions will be held at the Awards area. Please be on time!!!!

Dressing Facilities Please use your hotel rooms to dress. Shower facilities will not be provided.

Parking

Team vans:  Gibbs Farm Lot and Robbie Soccer Stadium. Go 1 block east of the course - take a left - enter parking lot for Gibbs Farm/Soccer Stadium. Back up location remaining spots in the Golf Course Main Lot.

Team Busses: Drop team off at the golf course. Parking will be in the Camel Lot (State Fair Lot 8/9) at the corner of Snelling and Hoyt Ave, the specific address is: Hoyt Avenue West &, Underwood St, Falcon Heights, MN 55108.


Spectator Parking

S101 (on the corner of Cleveland and Commonwealth) and the Gortner Ave. Ramp. Shuttles will transport to the golf course. Park at your own risk on the city streets.


Coach/Spectator Conduct At no time should a spectator or coach be on the course to help, impede or touch an athlete.

Clocks

Display clocks at mile and 3K for the Women's and High School races.

Display clocks at mile, 3K and 5K for the Men's races.

Trainers

Trainers will be at the course on the day of the race. Doctors will be on call. EMT on site. Click here for the letter to athletic trainers. MEDICAL INFORMATION should be readily available on all your athletes - allergies, medical conditions, etc., & parental releases to treat.


Course Description Rolling hills and grassy terrain the entire course. The course was measured by the shortest route from three foot off the line. In other words, the distance was measured where the athlete in front would run tangent to tangent. Each course is just over 105 meters long.

Other Important Things to Know
  • No spectator, parent or coach may touch a runner during the course of the race
  • Please have your team stay off the greens. No team tents on fairways.
  • The National Anthem will be sung at 10:15 a.m. and 2:45 p.m.
  • The course is clearly marked in alleys-White
  • Display clocks at 1K, mile and 3K for the Women's and High School Races.
  • Display clocks at the 1K, mile, 3K and 5K for the Men's Races
  • Wear bib numbers on front.
  • Please have runners run over the chip mats - keep moving through the chute to the back
  • No dogs or other pets are allowed on the Golf Course Grounds. No bikes or wheeled vehicles (except wheelchairs and baby strollers) are allowed on the Golf Course Grounds.
  • A university vendor will be selling food and beverages to spectators and athletes
  • NO shower facilities will be provided!
