Assessment and Mental Skills Training

Assessment (Mental Skills & Personality)

Assessments can provide useful information about a student-athlete's mental skills, communication style, sport learning preferences, competitive nature, personal motivators, leadership characteristics and personality. They can be administered to individuals or teams and a scheduled feedback session can be done to review/interpret your results.

Mental Skills Training

Mental skills coaching helps enhance and/or restore performance.  It is for those who wish to strengthen their "mental game" and perform better when it counts.  We help student-athletes harness the power of the mind to perform with greater confidence & consistency when under pressure, when fatigued, and on demand.  Most student-athletes train very hard physically, but few train hard mentally.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:
-  Mental toughness and confidence
-  Overcoming fear & mental blocks
-  Performance anxiety
-  Self-control & Awareness
-  Team chemistry
-  Focus & consistency
-  Performing under pressure
-  Difficulty communicating with teammates or coaches
-  Distractibility in competition
-  Lack of joy and fun in sport
-  Performance slumps
-  Leadership skills
