ANNUAL GOLF OUTING SET FOR JULY 30

MINNEAPOLIS - Registration is now open for the 2018 Golf Outing hosted by the Gopher women's hockey and Gopher men's golf teams. The sixth annual golf outing will take place at the Minneapolis Golf Club in St. Louis Park, Minn., on Monday, July 30.
Fans are invited to join director of men's golf John Carlson and women's hockey head coach Brad Frost along with student-athletes from both teams for the teams' annual golf fundraiser. Attendees may choose to play golf and/or join the two teams for dinner following the golf tournament.
The event begins with check-in and a BBQ lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with a shotgun start to the golf tournament set for 12:30 p.m. Following the round of golf, a social hour begins at 5 p.m. with dinner and a live and silent auction to follow. A program with raffle prizes will start at 6 p.m.
This year marks the sixth annual Golf Outing hosted by the two Gopher programs. The event stems from the friendship between the coaching staffs of each program. Bringing these two Gopher programs together creates a special day for everyone involved.
Participants may register to play golf and/or attend the dinner and auctions. Sponsorship options are also available.
