Fan Relations Representative

About the Job
Utilize ticketing system to assist customers
  • Create and manage customer accounts, making sure that all information is correct
  • Complete ticket orders over the phone and at the ticket window
Efficient Phone Operations
  • Provide timely and accurate ticket information to customers
  • Politely work with customers in high pressure situations
  • Provide timely and informative responses to emails
  • Locate, file, and distribute will call
  • Build a positive relationship with customers
  • Additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Ticket Sales and Service Department Staff.
Conditions of Employment
  • Work a minimum of 10 hours per week in the Office
  • Willingness to work all football home games
  • Work 5-10 additional events (outside of football) per month
  • Work major on-sale dates (season ticket renewals, single game ticket on sales, student ticket on sales, etc.)
  • Attend all staff trainings
  • Be available nights, weekends, and during school breaks
  • Be available to work during the school year and summer break
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be a registered student at the University of Minnesota
  • Excellent customer service, oral, and written communication skills
  • Computer experience (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, etc)
Desired Experience
  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Knowledge of Gopher Athletics
  • Sport Management/Business Major or Minor
  • Interested in pursuing sports/athletics career
