>> With a lineup featuring three graduate students, a senior and two sophomores, the Golden Gophers finished ninth at the Big Ten Championships. Minnesota earned a runner-up finish at the 19-team Leadership & Golf Invitational and a third-place showing at the Boilermaker Classic.
>> Sophomore Isabella McCauley became the second Gopher and first since 1989 to win the Big Ten Championship. After finishing second at the NCAA Auburn Regional, McCauley became the first Gopher to qualify for the NCAA Championships in back-to-back years since 1988. She also became the program's second CSC Academic All-American.
>> Head coach Rhyll Brinsmead announced she was leaving the coaching profession after three-plus seasons at the helm of the Gopher program.
>> Minnesota finished a program-best 11th at the prestigious ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Lake Elmo, Minn., which included a win over No. 12 Baylor. The Gophers also earned wins over No. 9 Mississippi State and No. 22 Purdue at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic.
