>> Bolstered by four individual champions, Minnesota place seventh at the 2024 Big Ten Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Led by three All-Americans, the Golden Gophers finished 37th at the NCAA Championships.
>> Freshman Angelos Mantzouranis claimed the Big Ten title in the hammer throw and then finished third in the event at nationals.
>> Fellow newcomer Charles Godfred became an All-American in the long jump and was the highest finisher among all freshmen with a sixth-place showing.
>> Following a Big Ten title in the 100 meters, junior Devin Augustine became a two-time All-American following a 17th-place finish in the 200 meters.
