Academic All-Big Ten and NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete ? Big Ten Distinguished Scholar ? Big Ten Medal of Honor recipient, the second Minnesota softball player to earn the accolade ? named an NFCA Second Team All-American, the first Gopher to receive the honor as a pitcher ? 2011 ? FRESHMAN SEASON:
Started 43 games and appeared in 47 ? garnered most wins in a season by a Gopher pitcher with 28 ? ranked second in the Big Ten with 278.2 inning pitched and sixth with an earned run average of 2.06 ? struck out 330 batters, which ranked her 14th nationally and second on Minnesota's single-season records ? tallied 10 games where she struck out at least 10 batters ? threw 32 complete games and ranked seventh in the nation with 14 shutouts ? pitched three one-hit shutouts ? named to All-Big Ten Second Team and earned Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors ? chosen as a member of the 2011 Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I All-Great Lakes Region Second Team ? acquired first career win in a complete game, seven strikeout performance against Rutgers (Feb. 18) ? tallied 13 strikeouts in a 7-2 win over Loyola Marymount (Feb. 19) ? threw first one-hit shutout versus UNC Greensboro on February 26 while fanning eight and only walking one ? snagged seventh win of the season in a complete game two-hit performance over Utah State 2-1 (March 4) ? defeated No. 18 Oklahoma State on March 13 by throwing a three-hit shutout ? recorded second one-hit shutout on March 19 against North Dakota State ? turned in one of her best performance on March 20 versus Western Michigan by pitching a three-hit shutout and striking out a career high 15 batters ? matched the Western Michigan outing six days later by throwing an identical three-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts at Indiana (March 26) ? struck out another 15 batters in a complete game 10-inning shutout against Iowa State (April 7) ? threw third complete game one-hit shutout in a 3-0 win over South Dakota (April 9) ? her ERA plummeted to 1.89 at the end of April ? hurled 12 innings in a doubleheader at Northwestern on May 4 to acquire two wins after only allowing one combined run off 11 hits and striking out 15 on the day ? ended the season with a complete game, 10 strikeout performance in a 3-2 win over Illinois (May 14).

A 2010 graduate of Eagan (Minn.) High School ? played for coach Courtney Dully ? named the 2009-10 Minnesota Gatorade Player of the Year ? honored as Minnesota's Miss Softball in 2010 ? 2009 and 2010 Star Tribune All-Metro Player of the Year ? 2009 Pioneer Press Player of the Year ? a member of the 2008 state championship team and the 2009 state consolation championship team ? a four-time all-state, all-metro and all-conference award winner (2007-10) ? a two-time team captain for Eagan High School ? earned team MVP honors in 2007, 2009 and 2010 ? holds a career 83-13 record with 1,142 strikeouts, a 0.35 ERA, 58 shutouts, 13 no hitters and three perfect games ? high school teammate of fellow Gophers freshman Bree Blanchette ? a four-year letter winner in softball, also lettered once in basketball ? listed on Eagan's A Honor Roll ? earned the 2010 Athena Award, which recognizes one outstanding senior female athlete at all greater Minneapolis schools each year ? also played for the Minnesota Sting (2005-10) alongside current teammates Dannie Skrove and Kari Dorle ? with the Minnesota Sting, finished second at the 2008 18-U ASA Nationals.
