Brady Keeran joined the University of Minnesota football staff in March 2025 as Special Teams Quality Control. 

Keeran came to Minnesota from Eastern Kentucky where he spent the 2023-24 seasons. In 2024, he served as the tight ends coach, and in 2023 he was a senior analyst. 

In 2024, Eastern Kentucky tight ends caught 17 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown and also blocked for an offense that rushed 533 times for 2,498 yards and 23 touchdowns. 

In 2023, Keeran contributed to a United Athletic Conference-best 4,811 yards of total offense, as Eastern Kentucky averaged 437.4 yards per game, which ranked eighth in all of FCS. Eastern Kentucky also boasted the best red zone offense in the conference, scoring points on 92% of trips inside the 25-yard line.

Prior to Eastern Kentucky, Keeran was special team quality control at Memphis. He also spent one season at Buffalo as an offensive graduate assistant where he worked with the receivers. Keeran spent two years at Murray State where he worked with tight ends and running backs as a special teams and offensive graduate assistant. 

His coaching career began at his alma mater Kentucky, where he spent three seasons as a special teams and defensive assistant with a focus on defensive backs. 

The Ashland, Ky., native graduated from Kentucky in 2020. During his time there he helped Kentucky win bowl games in 2018 and 2019 and also supported the team’s recruiting efforts.
