John Gargiulo was named the University of Minnesota football program's Football Creative Director in 2022.
He came to the Golden Gophers after spending the 2021 season at Indiana where he was the assistant director of graphic design with the Hoosiers' football program. In his role at IU, he led recruiting graphic design efforts through creating custom content for recruits across social media and mobile, provided creative graphics for the brand's main social accounts, supported and organized recruiting photo shoots, and created logos, branding, and email design, among other duties.
Prior to Indiana, Gargiulo worked as a graphic designer at Cirrus Aircraft in Knoxville, Tenn., for three years where he created, designed, and produced ad campaigns. Prior to that, he worked for three years at Master Service Companies in Knoxville as a graphic designer and marketing assistant where he created and implemented new company branding and its website.
A 2015 graduate of Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois with a B.S. in marketing and commercial graphics, Gargiulo also contributed at his alma mater where he worked on the Publicity Council to promote events across campus and with Enactus to help business projects in the local community.
