2015 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in seven games, mostly on special teams • Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Competed on special teams against TCU, at Colorado State, against Kent State and against Ohio • saw action on the offensive line as a reserve and also competed on special teams at Purdue • played on special teams against Nebraska and Michigan.
2014 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games, seeing action on offense and on special teams • Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Made his Minnesota and collegiate debut as a reserve against Eastern Illinois where he helped spring a 42-yard touchdown run by Berkley Edwards • as a reserve, helped pave the way for Minnesota to rush for 284 yards, including a career-high 220 by David Cobb, against Middle Tennessee • saw extensive action as a reserve on the offensive line at TCU • helped protect for an offense that rushed for 380 yards against San Jose State • competed at Michigan and played on special teams against Northwestern, Purdue and at Illinois • played on offense and on special teams against Iowa • saw action on special teams against Ohio State • competed at Nebraska, at Wisconsin and against Missouri.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended St. Thomas Academy • rated the No. 112 prospect in the nation on the ESPNU 150 • earned a four-star ranking, while also being named the top player in the state of Minnesota and the No. 9 offensive guard in the nation by ESPN • helped lead team to 20-2 record over last two seasons, including berths in the section finals (2011) and the state semifinals (2010) • named first-team all-state by the Associated Press and the Pioneer Press following his senior season • garnered Star-Tribune and KARE-11 All-Metro accolades following the 2011 season • also named first-team all-conference after his senior year • honorable mention all-conference choice as a junior • helped lead Cadets to more than 370 yards per game as a junior and senior • coached by Dave Ziebarth.
