2017 - SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in 10 games and recorded seven tackles. Game-by-game: Saw action against Buffalo - notched two tackles against Oregon State - competed against Maryland - recovered one fumble against Michigan State - competed against Illinois - made one tackle against Iowa - notched three tackles at Michigan - saw action against Nebraska and Northwestern - made one tackle against Wisconsin. 

2016 - FRESHMAN SEASON:
Played in 13 games - recorded seven tackles and broke up one pass. Game-by-Game: Made his collegiate and Minnesota debut against Oregon State and recorded two tackles - made one tackle against Indiana State - recorded one tackle against Colorado State - competed at Penn State and against Iowa - notched one tackle at Maryland - saw action against Rutgers, Illinois, Nebraska, Northwestern and Wisconsin - broke up one pass against Washington State. 

2015:
Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Copperas Cove High School, where the Bulldawgs went 7-4 (5-1 in conference play) - selected to the Killeen Daily Herald’s All-District 12-6A Team - made 78 tackles (51 solo) in 11 games his senior year - returned a fumble 41 yards for a touchdown in a game against Belton - rushed 29 times for 211 yards and nine touchdowns - named Copperas Cove’s defensive MVP - coached by Jack Welch - also lettered in track - ranked as a three-star prospect by ESPN, Rivals, 247Sports and Scout - tabbed the No. 29 inside linebacker by ESPN, while Scout had him at No. 48 and 247Sports at No. 65 - Scout ranked him as the fifth-best middle linebacker prospect in Texas - ESPN rated him the No. 121 Texas recruit, and 247Sports had him No. 190.

PERSONAL: Born May 17, 1997 - son of Alicia and Ric Francis - has one brother (Jeremiah) and two sisters (Joellyn and Kaitlyn).
