One of the most highly regarded dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation as a member of the 2008 recruiting class ? signed with the Gophers in February 2008, but enrolled in January 2009 ? can make big plays with both his arm and legs ? possesses the size and arm strength to throw the ball down the field and the athleticism to make a big play when protection breaks down ? has a career total of 645 yards and six touchdowns recieving ? has a career total of 396 yards and one touchdown rushing.
2010 ? SOPHOMORE SEASON:Made appearances in all 12 games including seven starts at wide receiver ? tallied 42 catches for 587 yards ? hauled in five touchdowns through the air ? also had 119 rushing yards on 23 carries while completing two of eight passes for 24 yards in 2010 ? earned second varsity letter. Saw action as both a quarterback and wide receiver during his freshman season ? had a breakout game against Ohio State going 5-of-6 passing for 51 yards and tossing his first TD pass, all career highs ? also had a career day running ball against Ohio State with career highs of 11 carries and 81 yards ? scored his first collegiate touchdown on a reception against Cal ? with 265 yards rushing, he ended the regular season as the team's fourth-leading rusher ? earned first varsity letter.
