HIGH?SCHOOL: Two-time all-conference and all-metro selection ? earned honorable mention all-state honors following both his junior and senior seasons ? named team MVP in 2009 ? tallied 443 yards on 17 receptions (26.1 avg) ? racked up 85 tackles, seven tackles for loss, eight sacks and seven pass break-ups as a defensive end during his senior season ? notched four catches for 120 yards as a junior ? recorded 44 tackles, three sacks in 2008 ? helped lead team to 18-7 record during his final two seasons, including a state runner-up finish in 2008 ? also a standout basketball and baseball player, earning three letters in each ? coached by Bubba Sullivan.
