2021 • SENIOR SEASON: Played in 12 games and served as the team's primary punt returner • returned nine punts for 71 yards, with a season-long of 15 yards. Game-by-Game: Competed against Miami on special teams • returned one punt for 15 yards at Colorado and also played on offense • returned one punt against Bowling Green • saw action on special teams at Purdue • returned one punt for three yards against Nebraska • played against Maryland • returned one punt for 13 yards at Northwestern • returned two punts for 23 yards against Illinois • played on special teams at Iowa • returned two punts for 17 yards at Indiana • competed on special teams against Wisconsin • rushed for a two-point conversion on a fake field goal against West Virginia in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl.  

2020 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in four games, mostly on special teams. Game-by-Game: Competed against Michigan and at Illinois • saw action against Iowa and at Nebraska. 

2019 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in four games and saw his first action of the season against Nebraska • competed on offense and special teams at Rutgers and recovered an onside kick attempt by the Scarlet Knights • played against Maryland and Penn State. 

2018 • FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in one game as he made his Minnesota and collegiate debut against New Mexico State • Academic All-Big Ten.

2017: Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended IMG Academy • wore No. 81 for the Ascenders • enrolled at Minnesota in January 2017 • as a senior at IMG Academy, made 10 receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns • coached by Kevin Wright at IMG • as a junior at Mankato West, caught 64 balls for 690 yards and 12 touchdowns • recorded 21 tackles and two interceptions as a corner on defense • coached by Mark Esch at Mankato West, where he also lettered in track and field as a sophomore.  

PERSONAL: Son of Scott and Jennifer Annexstad • brother, Zack, is a quarterback for the Gophers • father, Scott Annexstad, played at Minnesota from 1982-83 and then saw time with Kansas City and Washington in the NFL.
