2013 ? SENIOR SEASON: Made his season debut against UNLV ? did not compete in the next four games as he was limited by an ankle injury ? returned to action at Michigan where he competed on special teams ? saw time at left tackle at Northwestern ? started his first game of the season at left tackle against Nebraska and blocked for a unit that generated 430 yards of total offense (271 rushing yards) ? protected for an offense that totaled 573 yards at Indiana and 381 yards against Penn State ? started against Wisconsin and at Michigan State where he helped the Gophers become the second team to rush for more than 100 yards (124 yards) against the Spartans.

2012 ? JUNIOR SEASON: Played in nine games, starting the first six and final three at left tackle ? missed four straight games in the middle of the season with an injury. Game-by-Game: Provided protection at UNLV as Minnesota totaled a season-high 478 yards (209 rushing, 269 passing) ? helped pave the way for the Gophers to rush for a season-high 240 yards against New Hampshire ? part of a protection unit that allowed Minnesota to pass for 217 yards and four touchdowns vs. Western Michigan ? blocked for an offense that rushed for 222 yards vs. Texas Tech ? named Academic All-Big Ten.

2011 ? SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 12 games and had 10 starts at left tackle ? named Academic All-Big Ten. HIGH?SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Mahtomedi High School ? led his team to Class 4A state runner-up finish as a junior in 2007 ? earned 2008 first-team all-state honors from the AP, St. Paul Pioneer Press and the Minnesota Football Coaches Association ? earned all-metro honors from the Minneapolis Star Tribune ? named honorable mention all-state by the AP following his junior season ? was a three-year starter ? anchored an offensive line that paved the way for a back-to-back 2,000-yard rusher ? three-year letterwinner ? named team's most valuable lineman as a junior and senior ? served as a team captain in 2008 ? coached by Dave Muetzel.
