PRONUNCIATION
2018 • SENIOR SEASON: Started all 13 games • recorded 93 tackles (60 solo), broken up seven passes, forced two fumbles and made two interceptions • earned Gary Tinsley Award for Nekton Mentality • was recognized as All-Big Ten Honorable Mention by the coaches and media • Academic All-Big Ten. Game-by-Game: Notched one tackle against New Mexico State • tallied six tackles and one pass breakup against Fresno State • forced one fumble, made one pass breakup and notched six tackles against Miami • led team with eight tackles against Maryland • recorded a team leading 11 tackles against Iowa and returned an interception 21 yards • registered eight tackles against Nebraska • tallied nine tackles against Nebraska • recorded an interception, broke up a pass and made seven tackles against Indiana • notched three tackles at Illinois • broke up one pass and made six tackles against Purdue • tallied 10 tackles against Northwestern • led team with 10 tackles against Wisconsin and also broke up one pass and forced one fumble • registered eight tackles in Quick Lane Bowl victory over Georgia Tech. 

2017 • JUNIOR SEASON: Played in all 12 games • recorded 65 tackles (47 solo) and three interceptions including a pick-six. Game-by-Game: Recorded first career interception in the third quarter against Buffalo • tallied four tackles against Oregon State • earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors after returning a 67-yard interception for a touchdown (tenth longest in school history) and notching four tackles against Middle Tennessee • notched six tackles including one for a loss of one yard against Maryland • tallied seven tackles against Purdue • recorded a career high nine tackles against Michigan State • broke up one pass and made six tackles against Illinois • picked off one pass and had three tackles against Iowa • notched four tackles against Michigan • registered 10 tackles including one for a loss and one pass breakup against Nebraska • tallied six tackles against Northwestern • recorded six tackles against Wisconsin. 

2016  SOPHOMORE SEASON: Played in all 13 games • recorded six tackles. Game-by-Game: Saw action against Oregon State and Indiana State • recorded one tackle against Colorado State and at Penn State • made three tackles against Iowa • saw action against Maryland, Rutgers, Illinois and Purdue • notched one tackle at Nebraska • competed against Northwestern, Wisconsin and Washington State. 

2015  FRESHMAN SEASON: Played in eight games • made one tackle on defense. Game-by-Game: Made Minnesota and collegiate debut on defense at Purdue, but did not record a statistic • competed on special teams versus Nebraska and Michigan • tallied first career tackle at Ohio State • appeared on special teams at Iowa and against Illinois, Wisconsin and Central Michigan, but did not record any statistics

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Bolingbrook High School, where he helped lead the Raiders to an 8-4 record (5-2 in conference play) as a senior • a Class 8A All-State Honorable Mention honoree • received Herald News All-Area honors and Chicago Sun Times All-Area Honorable Mention in 2014 • recorded 67 tackles (41 solo), including seven stops for a loss, during his senior campaign • tallied five pass breakups, two blocked kicks and two forced fumbles • rushed for 466 yards and eight touchdowns as a tailback • coached by John Ivlow • tabbed a three-star recruit by Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports, and a two-star recruit by Scout • named the No. 23 player in Illinois by ESPN, No. 30 by Rivals and No. 41 by 247Sports • ESPN rated him the No. 61 safety, and 247Sports has him at No. 127 • also lettered in baseball and wrestling.

PERSONAL: Son of Sam and Dee Huff • has three brothers (Julian, Jaden and Micah) and one sister (Jan) • identical twin brother Julian is a linebacker for the Gophers • brother Jaden is a running back at Northern Illinois and previously played at St. Cloud State.
