Hannah Paavola joined Gopher Athletics as Spirit Squad Coordinator in 2023. She primarily supports the Spirit Squad’s administrative work through event & appearance coordination, as well as program digital production. She also takes a special interest in program community outreach, advising the Spirit Squad Athlete Community Service Board.

Prior to joining the Gophers full time, Hannah spent 3 years representing the University as a student-athlete on the Small Coed Cheer Team, and 3 years in the Spirit Squad office as an intern. During this time, she pursued a bachelor’s degree in Spanish Studies and Fisheries, Wildlife & Conservation Biology.
