2010 Season - Indoor: Placed ninth in the heptathlon at Big Ten Championships (5,231) • late season illness hampered performance at Big Tens • scored a career-best and NCAA provisional qualifying score of 5,471 at Bill Bergan Invitational • landed a best of 23-2 in open long jump at Iowa State Classic. Outdoor: Competed in two decathlons • placed fifth in the Big Ten meet (7,101) • tallied a career-best score of 7,169 at the Drake Relays • also competed in open long jump at Big Ten Championships • Academic All-Big Ten honoree • earned third varsity letter.

2009 Season - Indoor: All-Big Ten Second Team • Big Ten heptathlon runner-up with a career-best score of 5,367, the seventh-best score in Gopher history and an NCAA provisional mark • also competed in the long jump at the Big Ten meet • placed second in the heptathlon at the Jack Johnson Classic. Outdoor: Competed in two decathlons • placed third at the Big Ten Championships with a career-high and NCAA provisional qualifying score of 7,014 • also scored in the long jump in the Big Ten meet with a sixth-place showing (23-2) won the decathlon title at the Kansas Relays • Academic All-Big Ten • earned second varsity letter.

2008 Season:
Indoor: Competed in three heptathlons • finished 11th at the Big Ten Championships with a season-best score of 4,956. Outdoor: Competed in three decathlons • scored season-best of 6,534 points in placing ninth in the Big Ten Championships • Academic All-Big Ten • varsity letterwinner.

2007 Season:
Redshirted the indoor and outdoor seasons.

High School:
A 2006 graduate of Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop High School • high school coaches were Roger Rogotzke and Mark Leitheiser • class A state champion in the triple jump and long jump • also placed fifth in the 100 meters • conference champion in the triple jump and long jump twice and in the 100 meters once • holds the school records in the triple jump, long jump and 100 meters • named all-conference and all-area twice • lettered for four years in track • lettered three years in football • a member of National Honor Society.
