2013 graduate of Colorado Academy - honors student - member of the Spanish Honor Society - three-year Level 10 gymnast who trained at Colorado Gymnastics Institute with current gopher gymnasts Lindsay Mable and Rachel Rowland - was a two-time Junior Olympics National Invitational Tournament qualifier, taking third on floor in 2012 - placed second on beam and third in the all-around at the 2012 Alamo Classic - won the vault title and finished second in the all-around at the 2013 St. Louis Classic - was the 2013 Level 10 Colorado State vault champion while finishing as the runner-up on both beam and in the all-around.

Daughter of Brett and Lauren Abernathy - has one older brother (Connor) - majoring in physiology with a minor in Spanish.
