2011 Season:
Competed on vault and bars in the first nine meets of the season before she was sidelined due to a foot injury Averaged 9.603 on vault and 9.658 on bars Started off the season with a 9.675 on vault and a 9.750 on bars against Ohio State on Jan. 8 Earned 9.675 and 9.750 for her vault and bars routine, respectively, against Iowa on Jan. 15 Scored a 9.675 on vault and a 9.700 on bars to add to the team win against Michigan State on Jan. 22 Posted 9.550 for her vault routine while scoring 9.700 on bars on Jan. 29 in the meet against Air Force At Illinois, earned marks of 9.625 and 9.725 on vault and bars, respectively Set a season-high score of 9.775 on vault at the Best of Minnesota Meet where she also score 9.750 for her bars routine The next weekend, she again posted 9.775 on vault to tie for third place on the event and also scored 9.075 on bars Earned marks of 9.675 and 9.700 on vault and bars, respectively Set a season-high on bars with a score of 9.775 while earning 9.000 for her vault routine Is ranked among the Big Ten Conference at No. 35 on bars and No. 39 on vault Ranks nationally at No. 200 on uneven bars and No. 255 on vault.

Competed on bars in 12 of 14 meets, missing two meets after sustaining a neck injury on her bars dismount at Penn State (1/30) Compiled a bars average score of 9.583 Earned her best bars score of the season, a 9.80, at Iowa Competed on vault in 10 meets, earning her season-high score of 9.75 against Michigan State A letterwinner.
2009 Season:
Competed on vault, bars and floor in every meet of the season Tied with Alexis Russell for Minnesota[apos]s top score on bars at Denver with a 9.825 to place third Tied with Kendra Elm for the team[apos]s best floor score at Nebraska (9.800) Her vault score counted toward the team score at 12 of 13 meets Had her best meet against Iowa (3/14), earning career-best scores in all three events in which she competed Compiled season-average scores of 9.669 on vault, 9.727 on bars, and 9.554 on floor.
2008 Season:
Competed on bars at 13 meets Was the team[apos]s top scorer on bars against New Hampshire (1/19) with a 9.650 to take second place Earned a personal best mark of 9.825 on bars at the Best of Minnesota meet (2/9) Compiled an average score of 9.648 on bars Competed on vault and floor once each Earned a 9.450 on vault against Oklahoma (3/22) Scored 9.375 on floor against New Hampshire (1/19).
High School/Club:
Has been a member of the Japan Junior National Team She competed in the Australian Youth Festival in 2003, where she finished seventh in the all around Qualified to compete in the J.O. National Championships multiple times, but was unable to compete until 2007 when U.S. citizenship was no longer a requirement to participate Despite suffering an elbow injury earlier in the 2007 season, she was able to continue training and was healthy enough to compete at the national level championship Had a high score of 9.275 on the bars at the 2007 J.O. National meet.

A graduate of Maryville High School in Maryville, Tenn. A native of Japan Plans to major in sports management Daughter of Takeshi Nagai and Masumi Nagai Has a younger brother, Ryoichiro.
