Tiffanie Couts

Tiffanie Couts is in her fourth season as the director of basketball operations for the University of Minnesota women's basketball program.
Previous to joining the Golden Gophers staff, Couts spent one season as a graduate assistant for head coach Marlene Stollings' VCU women's basketball team. Her responsibilities included assisting in team travel, recruiting mailers, email communications with high school coaches and athletes and practice and game day operations.
In the summer of 2013, Couts was an intern for the CarMax Summer Basketball League, where she assisted in league operations, maintained the league website, coached teams and served as a liaison between CarMax and the City of Richmond elected personnel.
Couts graduated from the University of Richmond in 2013 with a bachelor's of science in business administration and management with a marketing concentration. Couts was a member of the Spider women's basketball team from 2009-11, where she was a four-time scholar and helped the team to a 20-13 record and an appearance in the WNIT Second Round in 2010. While at Richmond, Couts spent time volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters for over three years. Couts earned her Masters of Education in sport leadership from VCU in 2014.
