Lauren Roberts joined the Gopher Soccer coaching staff during the 2020-21 season as a student assistant coach after previously playing for Minnesota as a freshman in 2019.
During Roberts' lone season in Maroon & Gold, she appeared in four games and played a total of 110 minutes. Roberts made her first college appearance and also recorded her first career shot on goal against Nebraska on Oct. 17, 2019.
Previously, Roberts was a four-time All-Conference recipient at Chanhassen High School, leading the team to a 2017 Conference Championship. Additionally, she was a four-time ODP Camp Participant (2013, 2016, 2017 x2), State Runner-Up (Club) and Schwan's USA Cup Runner-Up (Club).
