? JUNIOR SEASON
Competed in all 14 of the team's meets ? saw action on vault and beam in all 14 meets and performed on the floor in all but two of those meets ? Second Team All-Big Ten ? garnered the team's Mariam Award for doing everything possible to be the best gymnast and person she can be for the second year in a row ? was the Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week for the week of Feb. 17 ? tied or set career-highs on every event on which she competed ? tied her top career mark of 9.900 on vault three times ? set a career-high and tied the second-best balance beam score in school history with a 9.950 at home against Michigan State (Feb. 15) ? tied her best career score on the floor with a 9.925 at the New Hampshire Wildcat Invitational (Jan. 19) ? had four event wins, two on the beam and two on the floor ? Academic All-Big Ten.

2013 ? SOPHOMORE SEASON
Competed in all 14 meets for the season ? awarded Mariam Award named after former Minnesota gymnast Mariam Pourshoushari, given to the gymnast who does everything possible to be the best gymnast and person she can be ? Academic First Team All-Big Ten and First Team All-Big Ten honors ? saw career-best score on vault against Washington (Jan. 12) finishing with a score of 9.900 ? finished sixth and recorded a career-high 9.900 on balance beam against Florida ? finished with a score of 9.900 on floor at the Big Ten Championships ? finished NCAA Semifinals with a score of 9.825.

2012 ? FRESHMAN SEASON
Performed on all four events throughout the season ? claimed first once on beam ? Began her career with an all-around performance against Ohio State (Jan. 7) ? helped the Gophers notch a season-best beam score of 49.000 by tying for first with a season-best 9.875 score at Iowa (Feb. 24) ? notched a personal-best floor routine of 9.850 and helped the Gophers post a season-high score of 49.325 against Iowa State (March 10) ? assisted Minnesota in posting a season-high score of 49.300 and recorded her best vault score of 9.800 at the Big Ten Championships (March 24) ? scored a 9.800 or better in all but two meets ? named Minnesota's Most Improved Gymnast in 2012 ? received her first letter.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
A 2011 graduate of Lakeville North High School ? trained at TAGS South in Apple Valley, Minn., under the direction of former Gopher gymnast Mindy (Knaeble) Kiff, Kevin Brown, and her parents, Dan and Mary Schermann ? qualified to compete at the Junior Olympic Level 10 National Championship three times (2008, 2010, 2011) and qualified for the J.O. Regional Championship three times ? in 2011, she tied for fourth on beam and floor, with a fifth-place finish in the all around at the Minnesota State Championships ? went on to the regional championship, where she was the runner-up in the all around and floor, third on vault and beam, and sixth on bars ? at the national meet, she tied for fifth on floor and earned a 12th-place finish in the all around ? in 2010, she finished seventh on beam and ninth on floor at the J.O. National meet and was a member of the first-place Senior C J.O. National Team ? at the 2010 regional, finished fourth on beam and seventh in the all around ? as a freshman in 2008, she was the runner-up on vault and floor at the regional championship ? at the 2008 Minnesota state meet, she was third on beam and floor, as well as fifth in the all around ? she is a former club teammate of Jamie Bullock, who competed for the Gophers from 2006-10.

PERSONAL
Was on the 'A' Honor Roll every semester during high school ? participated in track and field, soccer and dance ? received two letters as a high jumper and sprinter for the Lakeville North track and field team ? National Honor Society member ? Panther-Pre leadership member ? earned several Student of the Month honors ? crowned 2010 Lakeville North Homecoming Queen ? the daughter of Dan and Mary Schermann ? has two younger brothers, Tyler and Trevor ? plans to major in human resources with minors in Spanish and public relations.
