Nate Dodson joined the University of Minnesota in July 2019. He was named an Offensive Graduate Assistant for the Gophers in 2021.
In this position, Dodson works with Offensive Coordinator Mike Sanford, Jr. and is responsible for opponent film breakdown, film project development and all advanced opponent personnel scouting. He has numerous responsibilities during games and works from the coaching booth.
Prior to arriving at Minnesota, he spent two seasons as an Operations Intern with the Los Angeles Rams. With the Rams, Dodson communicated with coaches on a daily basis to assist in the setup of drills and other on-field logistics.
Dodson graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing from Menlo College in Atherton, Calif. where he was the quarterback for the Oaks football team and the captain of the baseball team.
