"I'm majoring in applied economics with an emphasis in financial management," Eggum said. "I want to be a stock broker."
While Eggum wants to be a stock broker, he said he would like to settle in the Minnesota area becuase that is where all his friends are now.
How does Eggum feel about marriage? Assistant Coach Joe Russell said that was the wrong question to ask him, but Eggum said someday he would like to get married.
"I would like to get married someday, but not in the next two weeks," Eggum said. "I think I want to have three kids, two boys and one girl."
What else does the No.1-ranked college wrestler do? He eats, subway sandwhiches and Snickers bars. Not a bad diet.
Redshirt freshman Jacob Clark is a native of South St. Paul, Minn. Even though he is redshirting this season, look for him to be a force in the future of Golden Gopher wrestling.
The 165-pounder enjoys everything he does in life. He also admires his counterpart at 165, senior Josh Holiday. He said he admires Josh the most in practice.
Clark said he gets to go home quite often because he grew up in St. Paul. He said he likes to go home and have his mom make food for him and he also said he hasn't adjusted to doing his own laundry yet.
"I would say the toughest part of being at college is doing my own laundry," Clark said. "I like to go home, especially when my mom makes me macaroni and cheese with cheesewurtst in them."
Originally Clark said his favorite movies was Vision Quest, which he calls the only movie totally about wrestling. He later changed his mind.
"My favorite movie is Major League becuase Ricky Vaughn is my hero."
For now Clark is busy studying secondary education and hopes to someday be an elementary education teacher and coach.
