ONicole Lee gave Minnesota a 1-0 lead early but Ohio State scored a pair of goals less than three minutes apart late to claim a 2-1 victory at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

The Buckeyes dominated much of the game and had a 14-9 edge in shots during the first half but it was the Gophers' Lee who scored in the game's 12th minute to give her team an early lead.

Ohio State then outshot its guests 21-1 in the final 45 minutes but were unable to scored until the 79th minute when Jamie Minteer evened the game at 1-1.

Katie Martorella, who assisted on Minteer's goal, got the game winner with 8:47 left to play, finishing off a flurry of shots on Minnesota goalkeeper Dana Larson.

The Gophers, 5-4-0 overall and 3-2-0 in Big Ten play, got eight saves from Larson while Ohio State, 7-2-2 and 2-1-1, got four saves from Amber Barnes.

Minnesota will be at Penn State Sunday in another Big Ten tilt, beginning at 3 p.m. CDT.
