GOLDEN GOPHERS TO HOLD FIFTH ANNUAL WRESLTING KICKOFF

For the $10 advance ticket price or $15 at the door, fans can attend the wrestling clinic, get a free poster at an autograph session, experience the intensity of a Golden Gopher wrestling team workout, attend the Homecoming football game against Purdue at the Metrodome at 11:10 a.m. and receive a ticket to Minnesota's dual meet with Portland State, Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m., in the Sports Pavilion.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with the clinic beginning at 9:15 a.m. with sessions for parents and coaches as well as beginning and advanced wrestlers. The autograph session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and the Golden Gophers will work out from 10 to 11 a.m. A free shuttle service will run from the Bierman Building to the Metrodome to attend the Golden Gopher football game.
