Stanford remained the top-ranked team, receiving 11 of 12 first-place votes. Arkansas received the other top vote and remained second. The top five teams retained their previous places.
Wisconsin, the Big Ten champion, is ranked fifth, a position they have held for seven consecutive weeks. Michigan, which edged the Gophers by three points for second place in the Big Ten, is ranked 15th with Minnesota 16th and Michigan State 19th.
Minnesota returns to action Saturday, Nov. 13, when they will compete at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Champaign, Ill.
